Twitter announced that they will be making money off their millions of users. With 140-character Promoted Tweets. They appear when users search for keywords that advertisers have paid for in exchange for showing their ads. Twitter will show its users the Promoted Tweets based on those tweets’ relevance to each Twitter user.

Friday, April 9th, 2010No doubt Apple is a king of the product launch! and this week we have seen a ton of great press around the iPad — but we all know this market will flood with competition. Already a few touchscreen tablets exist, however the design seems to be weaker than Apple’s – while still chock full of the things the iPad lacks: multitasking, SD card slot, web-cam, Flash support and a USB cable port.
HP has something in this category that is rumored to hit the streets in June at a price of 599 for the 64 gig model.

This new Firefox add-on allows you to add venues, check-in to Foursquare, ping Twitter and Facebook, locate active friends on a map as well as every other Foursquare functionality the service supports.

Credit Card Processing with the iPhone
Thursday, April 8th, 2010I think by this point we’ve all heard of some great ways to process credit cards using the iPhone and some apps for small purchases on the go, at a trade show, or on your showroom. Here’s a video from Square… pretty cool.
