Google not using the keywords meta tag from your website to rank or index your site is really no surprise. Don’t be concerned about anyone lifting your “keywords” meta data from your website and using it on their web site – simply because it isn’t even used by Google to rank your web site…. This is something that most web developers, web designers and digital strategists working with SEO have known for quite some time, however we have always used the “keywords” meta data in an HTML document anyway. Now, Google simply says “NO” we do not use them… check out the video below:
